California requires (2) signs, a geometric symbol to be mounted directly on the restroom door (with or without the pictograms, text or braille) and a rectangular sign with tactile, braille and graphics to mount on the wall beside the door.The CA Unisex circular door symbol with a superimposed triangle must be centered horizontally on the door at a height of 60 above the floor to the center of the symbol.The corresponding Federal ADAAG sign for the wall requires the tactile text, braille and graphics. This should be mounted on the wall adjacent to the latch side of the door, 60 above the floor to the center of the sign.
