This is the limited-quantity Pilot Cocoon Chanomegumi fountain pen in deep green with a fine (F) nib, made to match Pilot’s tea-leather Chanomegumi pen sheath, and every pen bought from Cityluxe can be engraved in store at the Cityluxe WorkRoom from $15. We also stock it in light green and roasted tea brown.

Is the Pilot Cocoon the same pen as the Pilot MR (Metropolitan)?
Yes. Cocoon is the Japanese name for the pen sold elsewhere as the Pilot MR or Metropolitan; this Chanomegumi version is a limited Japanese edition.

Which nib sizes are available?
The Chanomegumi Cocoon fountain pen is only made with a fine (F) nib.

Is there a matching ballpoint and pen sheath?
Yes. The Cocoon Chanomegumi ballpoint and the Chanomegumi tea-leather pen sheath both come in deep green.

About the Chanomegumi series

Chanomegumi (, “the blessings of tea”) is Pilot’s leather goods series made with Lezza Botanica upcycled leather, tanned with liquid pressed from the used tea leaves left over from Ito En green tea production. The limited Cocoon pens were designed to match the series’ Chanomegumi pen sheath; the pens themselves are not made from recycled tea leaves.
