Artway Watercolour Postcard Book 12 Postcards, A6 300gsm Cold Pressed Paper

The Artway Watercolour Postcard Book gives you 12 sheets of genuine 300gsm cold pressed watercolour paper, cut to A6 and printed on the back with an address and stamp guide, so every postcard is ready to paint, write and send.Watercolour and gouache feel most at home here, where a loaded brush can pool, bloom and settle into the tooth of the paper. The same sheets take happily to mixed media too, so a little pen and ink linework, a pencil sketch beneath a wash, or a few marker accents all belong on the page.Acid free throughout, with a card cover and greyboard backing that keeps everything steady wherever you like to paint, whether that is the kitchen table, a sunny windowsill or a bench somewhere outdoors.Single book or retail pack? Choose a single book, or the retail pack of 20. The retail pack arrives as a fully illustrated counter display unit, with watercolour florals wrapping right around the carton and a front that folds down to stand the books upright, ready to browse. It doubles as retail packaging, so there is nothing to unpack and arrange, you just open it and display. A lovely fit for shops, studios, workshops and classrooms, or anyone who likes to keep plenty to hand for gifting and postcard swaps.A note on posting: if you are sending a finished postcard out in the open rather than inside an envelope, a light spray of fixative or varnish first will help it survive the journey, since raw watercolour paint is not fully weatherproof once it is in the postal system.
