Wearingeul Therese Raquin (by Emile Zola) Ink 30 ml

Inspired by mile Zola’s 1867 novel Thrse Raquin, the book that made his name and scandalized reviewers who called it “putrid literature” for its unflinching look at adultery and murder.The ink tracks that same descent. It starts as a blue-violet, clean and cool going onto the page, then deepens as it dries into a gray-violet that carries more weight than it started with. Faint blue-gray tones surface in between, giving the shading real range brighter where the line is thin, heavier where the ink pools.
